Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical, commercial, and strategic Senior Manager - Performance Marketing to lead our digital growth engine. In this leadership role, you will own the media spend, forecasting, and revenue delivery across our direct-to-consumer (D2C) website and digital marketplace channels. You will sit at the intersection of data and creativity, managing substantial ad budgets while working cross-functionally to eliminate funnel gaps, scale customer acquisition, and hit ambitious growth targets.
The ideal candidate has exceptional mathematical and forecasting skills, an intuitive understanding of digital ad creative hooks, and a proven track record of scaling high-growth consumer/D2C portfolios efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Growth Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting
- Revenue Modeling: Own monthly and quarterly D2C and marketplace revenue target planning, building clear scaling and forecasting models.
- Budget Allocation: Strategically plan daily/monthly media spend and budget allocation across paid social (Meta), paid search (Google Ads), and Marketplace Performance channels (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.).
- Efficiency Metrics: Continuously monitor and improve critical bottom-line metrics, including absolute Revenue, Platform Conversion Rates (CVR), ROAS, and TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales).
End-to-End Campaign Management & Funnel Optimization
- Campaign Velocity: Lead the execution, launching, A/B testing, scaling, and real-time budget reallocations of high-budget ad campaigns.
- Funnel Diagnostics: Actively identify creative fatigue, audience drop-offs, and landing page/storefront funnel gaps; drive rapid corrective actions to maximize traffic yield.
- Data-Led Insights: Deliver sharp performance dashboards and growth reports, translating complex performance attribution into clear, strategic growth opportunities for senior leadership.
Creative Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Performance Briefing: Actively brief the Brand and Content teams on baseline creative requirements, asset formats, and hook angles based on real-time performance data and funnel drops.
- BCA (Brand Creative & Assets) Ownership: Review and approve scripts, static ad designs, and video hooks to ensure they are structurally engineered to convert before going live.
- Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate directly with the Creative, Brand, Marketplace, and Analytics teams to eliminate execution friction and maintain a rapid loop from data to asset creation.
Ideal Candidate Background:
Key Requirements:
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, or a highly analytical/quantitative domain.
- Experience: 5–8 years of core performance marketing experience, with a proven track record of directly scaling and managing high-budget campaigns inside a fast-growing D2C brand, e-commerce company, or growth agency.
- Platform Mastery: Hands-on, deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. Strong knowledge of marketplace ad dashboards (Amazon, Nykaa) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics/GA4, Mixpanel, or Shopify analytics).
- Analytical Skills: Advanced data manipulation skills (Excel/Sheets) with the ability to look at rows of platform data and immediately spot consumer drop-off trends.
