We are looking for a sharp, execution-oriented Business Manager - Offline to work directly with the Channel Head – Offline at Foxtale. This is one of the highest-leverage roles in the offline org — you will act as an extension of the Channel Head, covering the full breadth of what the offline business runs on: GT distribution, trade marketing, retail expansion, P&L management, and analytics. You will own projects end-to-end, from ideation through execution and impact measurement, ensure nothing falls through the cracks across workstreams, and bring structure, speed, and clarity to a fast-scaling offline engine. You will serve as the operational second — tracking business action items from reviews and managing cross-functional dependencies. This is not a support role — it is a co-pilot role.
What You'll Own
1. P&L Management & Business Analytics
- Own key revenue, margin, and cost levers across the offline business
- Track trade spend efficiency and identify cost optimisation opportunities across retailers, distributors, activations, and operations
- Collaborate with Finance to monitor SKU and channel-level contribution margins and flag deviations early
- Own the offline analytics layer — MRP-level sales tracking, DOH management, MoM trends, and SKU-level sell-through
- Leverage tech to optimise live dashboards and trackers; generate accurate insights decks with clear recommendations
2. Strategic Expansion
- Lead GT retail expansion — identify geographic white spaces, evaluate new clusters, and prioritise markets using outlet density and competitive data
- Own post-launch performance tracking to measure ROI and sharpen the expansion playbook over time
3. Distribution & DB Management
- Track and improve numeric distribution, weighted distribution, and outlet coverage across GT markets
- Own DB health reviews — monitor secondary sales performance, flag underperformers, and drive corrective action
- Oversee stock flow, fill rates, and DMS accuracy in partnership with field teams
4. Marketing Initiatives Tracking
- Monitor trade marketing activations end-to-end — POP visibility, CDU placements, shopper campaigns, and in-store branding across 10,000+ stores
- Track execution adherence, measure campaign ROI (offtake uplift, footfall impact), and feed learnings back into planning
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
- 3–5 years of experience in strategy or a similar function within an FMCG / consumer goods company
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel / Google Sheets for sales tracking, reporting, and dashboarding
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with structured thinking and clear documentation
- Basic to moderate knowledge of LLMs and AI applications
- Comfortable with on-ground GT market travel and building relationships with field teams and distributors
- Strong written and verbal communication — able to present data as a business story to senior stakeholders
- Structured problem-solving ability — comfortable breaking down ambiguous business problems into clear hypotheses and action plans
- Comfort with P&L concepts — revenue, margin, trade spend, cost lines — and ability to draw commercial insight from financial data
